A free-standing commercial drinking-water bubbler in a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) cabinet with a granite-stone finish — the right look for outdoor courtyards, school grounds, gym entrances, and any visible public-area installation where the standard powder-coated or stainless cabinet would either weather poorly or feel too clinical for the setting.
WaterMark Certified and Lead-Free
WaterMark certified under licence 23484 to specification WMTS-105:2016 — the Australian technical standard for drinking fountains and bubblers. A licensed plumber can install this unit on a mains supply line, issue a certificate of compliance, and the installation is covered under standard insurance. All wetted materials in contact with the drinking water are lead-free, which matters for schools, childcare, and any installation subject to ongoing drinking-water lead regulation.
Why HDPE With a Granite Finish
Standard commercial bubblers come in stainless steel (sharp, modern) or powder-coated steel (cheaper, but rusts at the corners over years). HDPE is neither of those — it's a tough engineering polymer that doesn't rust, doesn't pit at the welds (because there are no welds), and accepts a deep granite-stone texture moulded directly into the cabinet rather than painted on the surface.
For outdoor installations exposed to weather, salt air, or pool chlorine, the HDPE cabinet outlasts powder-coated alternatives. For visual installations — school yards, community parks, park-adjacent gyms — the granite finish reads as 'permanent fixture' rather than 'cheap unit we bolted in'.
Build and Dimensions
The cabinet stands 122 cm tall with the bubbler spout rising approximately 7 cm above that (total reach roughly 129 cm to the bubbler nozzle), and a separate side-mounted dispensing tap at about 25 cm above the cabinet top. The 41 cm × 41 cm footprint suits standard concrete pad installation. Internal cooling is a 200 W compressor running R290 refrigerant (60 g charge) delivering 20 L/hr of chilled water at 8–12 °C.
Two-stage filtration — PP sediment plus activated carbon — sits inside the cabinet, accessible for routine cartridge replacement.
