A 12 cm-tall mixer tap with an extended spout — sized for kitchen sinks, laundry tubs, larger bathroom basins, or any installation where the standard 12 cm reach is too short to clear the back of the basin or sink.
When the Extended Spout Matters
The standard 12 cm basin mixer works fine for small to medium bathroom basins where the tap mounts close to the front of the basin. Three installations where the standard reach falls short:
- Laundry tubs — usually deeper front-to-back than bathroom basins, so a short spout dumps water into the back of the tub instead of the centre
- Kitchen sinks — same issue, plus you want clearance for pots and items being washed
- Large bathroom basins — undermount or above-counter basins that sit further back from the bench front edge
The extended spout pushes the water-delivery point forward into the centre of the sink or basin, giving you the usable reach the installation actually needs.
