A standard 1/4" tube diverter valve for bench-top and countertop water filter systems — the replacement diverter for modern Australian kitchen taps with standard aerator threads. The right diverter for most contemporary installations and the everyday replacement when an existing diverter has aged or failed.
How a Diverter Works
The diverter screws onto your kitchen tap spout in place of the aerator. Two outlets:
- Down through the spout: normal tap flow when you want unfiltered water
- Out the side: to the bench-top filter via 1/4" tubing when you flip the valve
A small lever or pull-tab on the diverter switches between the two paths. When the diverter is set to filter mode, the tap pushes water up to the bench-top housing, through the cartridge, and out the filter's own dispensing tap.
What Makes This the Standard Diverter
This is the everyday workhorse diverter for the bench-top range. Fits the standard 22 mm or 24 mm external aerator threads found on most modern Australian kitchen taps installed in the last 20 years. 1/4" tube outlet matches the tubing supplied with all Enviro Aqua bench-top filter systems.
If you have an older or non-standard tap that won't accept this diverter directly, use the rubber adapter as an intermediate fitting.
